NDT can be described as a set of methods and techniques used to inspect the integrity of materials. Perhaps, its most crucial point is NDT inspects materials without degrading them in any way or make it non destructive. As well as including in standard technologies, there should be standard pieces of equipment that crop up in the Non-Destructive Inspection field. Because it is of the similar nature of process related industrial equipment and isn't surprising at all.

NDT companies themselves, vary widely in what they can do, in terms of technology and methods. A lot of NDT companies will only perform basic methods such as magnetic particle, or dye penetrant. On the other hand, some will also present much less information in reports, as compared to the other companies, or may not have a quality assurance system in place. When looking for a Non Destructive Testing company you always be aware of it that, just because the price is good, doesn't mean you'll be getting the same service.
